Terms of use
the rules of the game, the boring bitLast updated 5 November 2026
1. About us
London Crawler is run by Javier Diez Puente, 14 Boundary Street, London E2 7JE, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Contact us at [email protected] or on 07759 481341. By booking, you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we use your data.
2. What you're booking
- A self-guided pub crawl game played on WhatsApp. There's no guide: your team follows clues at its own pace.
- Drinks aren't included. You buy your own at each pub.
- The pubs and bars on our routes are independent businesses. They aren't run by us or partners of ours. Their opening hours, entry, prices and service are up to them, and any of them can refuse entry or service. If a pub on your route is closed or full, send BACKUP and we'll send you to another one.
- We may change the pubs or the route, for example if a pub closes.
3. Prices and payment
- Play together: one price per team, shown when you book (currently £15 for a team of 2 to 10).
- VS mode: one price for the whole battle, shown when you book (currently £15 for 2 to 6 teams).
- Payment is taken by Stripe when you book. Your booking is confirmed when we email you your code.
4. Booking codes
- Each code starts one game, once, on the captain's phone. In VS mode, each team gets its own code.
- Codes don't expire. If we retire an experience before you've used your code, we'll offer you a similar experience or a full refund.
- Keep your code safe: anyone who has it can start your game.
5. Cancellations and refunds
- Changed your mind? We'll give you a full refund at any time, as long as your code hasn't been used to start a game. Email [email protected] with your booking code.
- VS mode: the battle is refunded in full if no team has started. Once one team has started, the battle can't be refunded.
- Once your game has started, it can't be refunded, unless something went wrong on our side (see section 6).
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 days.
- This is on top of your legal right to cancel within 14 days of booking. By starting a game, you ask us to provide it straight away, and your right to cancel ends once the game has been provided.
6. If something goes wrong on our side
If our game stops working and you can't finish because of a problem on our side, contact us and we'll let you play again or refund you.
7. Playing safely
- Everyone playing must be 18 or over. Pubs may ask for ID.
- Please drink responsibly. The game never requires you to drink alcohol: soft drinks count.
- Follow the rules of each pub and its staff, and be considerate to other customers and neighbours.
- Take care crossing roads and walking between pubs. You're responsible for your own safety and belongings.
- We may stop a game, without a refund, if a team is abusive to pub staff, to other customers or to us.
8. Team names and messages
Team names appear on the public leaderboard. Don't use names that are offensive or that impersonate someone. We may change or remove a team name, or a leaderboard entry, at our discretion.
9. Our responsibility to you
We provide the game with reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for the pubs and bars, what they serve, or anything that happens there. If we're responsible for a loss, our liability is limited to the price you paid for your booking. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights.
10. The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
